Hello again dear crafty friends
I'm posting from Australia!!!
Yes, only 5 months since we left
to head home for Scotland,
and here I am back in Oz....
DH is working in Brisbane, and I have
come down for a few weeks to be with him,
and have also flown over to Perth
for a few days to visit with friends
and visit my old haunting grounds
- scrappy shops.
Heading back to Brisbane on Friday,
and then I think we are going
to Cairns for a few days,
life is never boring.
Anyway....
It's time for the 2nd card sketch reveal over at
and this is my interpretation
From the great sketch by
Guest Designer Debbie Burns
The papers I have used are from
Pink Paislee "Queen Bee"
The Sentiment circle is from a set
that was gifted to me from the
great card maker Enfys at Going Buggy
- we were on the Scrappy Go Lucky DT
together a whiles back,
and we met at CHA in LA January 2011 -
I've been using them very sparingly,
as I don't want to use them and
then not have them - know what I mean!
The beautiful flower and butterflies
image is from my stash
- one of those card topper sheets
you pick up along the way,
but have no idea who it is from.
I think I've had it for a few years now,
glad to finally use it
Martha Stewart "Lace Doily"
punchwork down the right hand edge,
lots of inking and
Kindyglitz "Crystalina"
And a wee bit of twine from
the Twinery "Honeydew"
A nice little card that I had fun putting together
Now head on over to Stuck On U Sketches
Be amazed at the beautiful cards
my fellow DT members have created,
and join in the fun and maybe be
chosen in the Top 3
Will be over to your blogs
to see what you have created soon
Hugs

BEAUTIFUL card! I love the papers and flowers and butterflies!
Gorgeous and then some! You're the first person who ever made that Queen Bee look good to me! The addition of the flowers and b/f really makes the card! Hugs and have fun on your trip!
