Hello again scrappy friends, I'm here today with my interpretation of the current sketch over at Frosted Designs....

tHe cutesT chiCken.... I did want to call it the cutest little chicken, but there wasn't enough Ts - can you tell... hee hee - should have used Cricut!!

The sketch by Karin....

I have used my Lime Tart August 2011 Full Tart kit....

The gorgeous papers from Authentique "Blissful" collection.....

I had always wondered what papers I could ever use for this photo!!!

The title is from Basic Grey's "Out of Print"....
The flowers and leaves are Prima....

The large flowers have been cut from the Authentique Blissful sheet "Happiness"....

The butterflies are also Prima, which were pink when I started, but a good spritz of Glimmer Mist "Sun Sisters" soon changed that....

All the papers and paper flowers have been inked with Brilliance Ink Graphite Black....

The photo is gorgeous Granddaughter Rebekah at her dance display in December last year, she WAS the cutest little chicken...

Love all those tail feathers....

Frosted Designs # 15

Hello again, everybody. Here is my take on Sketch # 15 over at Frosted Designs.....

The sketch.....

I have used my Lime Tart May 2011 A La Tarte....

The papers are the gorgeous "Laced with Grace" by Glitz, as are the tags....

The title, background circle of title and the file tab are Bo Bunny....
The rhinestones are Kaiser and the brads are Creative Imaginations....

The flowers, lace, flourish and swing tickets were in a wee bag in the kit....

The photograph is DS and gorgeous DGD # 2 from Easter this year, back home in Scotland - will see them soon..... yay....

********

Meanwhile, things have returned to normal over at Scrappy Go Lucky, now that the Easter holidays are over. Which means my Walkabout Wednesday posts have returned - yesterday actually.....

Frosted Designs 5-3 # 14

Again using the new collection from Kaiser "Chapter One" I have finally used this amazing photo of DGD # 1, taken in November 2009 when she was 3 years and 3 months old....

The latest sketch over at Frosted Designs was perfect for the photo and papers....

The sketch by Debbie.....

The layout is made entirely from Kaiser Chapter One, except the Bazzill cardstock background....

Lots of distressing, and a little inking....

"you can be great at everything you choose" was straight from the journal sheet in the collection - perfect....

Totally loving this layout....

And, just a close up of the power in this kid's eyes....

Still more to come with this collection - I'm gonna use every last little bit of it - determined....

Hugs

My Own Wee Chair

Good morning fellow bloggers.....

Over at Frosted Designs they are having a mega on-line crop......

First challenge was to make a layout in one hour, using ribbon.....

I made this in 20 minutes....!!!!

Using my Lime Tart June 2010 Half Tart....

Papers are Crate Paper "Paper Doll" Collection....

The vine is Prima "Petite Fleur Vine Aster"....

Ticket is MME....
Note Paper is Jenni Bowlin....

Ribbon from stash.....

Photo is DGD # 3 Emma.....

However - TOO LATE!!!!!

We are a wee bit ahead of the states down here in Oz. I was up at 7.30am (hubby going to golf!!!) and was browsing when I remembered the challenge.....

Still 30 minutes to post entries - I can do this....

Yep, layout done in 20 minutes - fastest one ever for me....

Then the fun starts - take the photo's, upload to blogger - OMG, why is blogger sooooooo sloooooow......

Collection closed....

Never mind, another layout of gorgeous Emma done, in record time....

So, anyway, head over to
Frosted Designs, they have loads going on, all day, or night, depends where you are....LOL

I have also done the Frosted Designs challenge this week, finished that layout yesterday, will post it after the crop is finished.....

What's next me thinks....

Thanks for dropping in....

baby sister

This layout came together because
I was determined to use the papers.....

I wasn't too sure of them together, but managed to
pull this out of the proverbial hat,
just to use them (afterall, I have paid for them!!).
They were the remaining pieces from my
Lime Tart September 09 Full Tart kit.....

The papers and journal tags are Jenni Bowlin
and cardstock is Bazzill.....

I have used the Martha Stewart
Punch Around The Corner 'Modern Garland'
punch on the red Bazzill cardstock,
which allows me to enter the layout in the current
Frosted Designs Challenge - to use border punches.....

The inspire tag was in the kit, so I don't know
who makes it, but it is stunning,
and I love it on this page.....
'baby' was cut from A Child's Year and
'sister' from Heritage Cricut carts.....

A wee bit of fussing cutting for the wee flowers.....
Some distressing.....
Velvet ribbon and lace.....
Voila.....

Photo is DGD Rebekah with new
DGD Emma in June 09.....

I'm really happy with the result.
Considering I wasn't sure I liked the papers (sorry Jenni),
but determination won in the end.....

Thanks for dropping in again girls.....

Hugs
