My 400th Post!!!!!!!!

Whoo hoo, this is my 400th post.
My blogoversary is in about 30 days, that will be four years.
So I'm averaging 100 posts a year - not too bad.
I remembered when I started the blog, what will I write about???

I have made so many blogging friends over
the 4 years, from all over the world.
What a wonderful world blogland is....
Even when we are struggling to get used to
the new Blogger Template "@#*!%#*

So, to my 400th post - Sketch # 203 from

The sketch....

I have used the Bo Bunny "Country Garden" Collection - beautiful....

The title is from the Combo Stickers in the collection....

Some netting under the title die....

The butterfly is cut from the papers and a wee bit
of Stickles to his body for sparkle....

All the flowers are Prima....

The wee fence is a Memory Box die "Rounded Fence"....

The leaves are Spellbinders "Foliage" die....

The rhinestones are Kaiser Deep Yellow
and the ribbon and lace are from my stash....

Photo of my beautiful Granddaughters
to be added (when I take it...LOL)

Latest news on the arrival of our worldly goods
is that they have to be delivered to us on 4th May - yay!!!!!

And daughter and I are leaving for a few days in London on that date....Typical.

Darling husband will have to deal with it all.

So, I will be returning from London to all my scrapping stash - life is good....

Be back again soon

Love & Hugs

Creative Scrappers # 202

Finally, a layout with a photo and title!!!!

Took this photo of my three darling Granddaughters last week, and sketch # 202 over at Creative Scrappers was perfect to showcase it.....

The sketch, by Juliana Michaels.....

I have used the beautiful "Random" Collection of papers from Crate Paper...

Flowers by Prima - "Audrey Rose"....

Bling by Zva Creative.....

And Bazzill cardstock - with lots of distressing, including the photo.....

Now, to happenings at sea......

As most of you know, we are waiting the arrival of our worldly goods from Australia, which has now been delayed to the 22nd April.....

Let's Google the ship.....

Voila.....

The MSC Firenze.....

Yes, our worldly goods (and all my scrapping supplies and photo's, including vintage family heirloom photo's) are stacked on this container ship.....

Maybe I shouldn't have Googled it....

But, you gotta love Google.....

Creative Scrappers #190

Today I have my interpretation of Sketch #190 over at Creative Scrappers....

Again, using Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue collection.....

The bling flourish is from Prima....

The journal and 100% fun stamps are from Kaiser....

Doilies from stash....

And along with sketch #189's layout, a double layout. I don't do too many doubles, so was quite happy with this one....

Happy scrapping.....

See you again soon....

Creative Scrappers # 189

Hello again scrappy friends.....

I've been having a play with the sketches over at Creative Scrappers.....

Here is my interpretation of sketch #189.....

The papers are Graphic 45 "Tropical Travelogue" - love the vibrant colours of this collection....

A Kaiser stamp for the "Paradise in our own back garden"....

Photo is DH and Granddaughter Rebekah in January last year....

Still no sign of the house selling, the market is really slow everywhere, although we are getting a lot of interest, no offers yet....

Back in a couple of days with sketch #190....

A Wonderful Day

Oh what fun to be back in my scrap room after the Christmas festivities.....

This is my interpretation of the latest challenge over at Creative Scrappers....

Sketch # 136 by Michelle Fowler....

The papers I have used are from a 12x12 Scrapbook Pad by Grace Taylor 'Vintage Elegance'.....

All the flowers and the little bling bird are by Prima - gorgeous....

Love these Prima Antique Mistletoe in Blizzard Blue - so sparkly....

And the chocolate box bow, which was in the 12x12 Grace Taylor pad....

A wee close up of the Martha Stewart Deep Edge Daisy Fan - an immediate dramatic effect, especially in a contrast colour.....

The photo's are DD and DGDs 1 & 3 at Fremantle on Boxing Day (26th Dec) this year......

Sadly my photo's are not up to my usual standard - because.....

I got a new camera for Christmas.....

I had NO idea.....

DH bought me a Canon EOS 500D.....

So, a steep learning curve now to learn how to use it.....

Think I will sign up for a few classes - this thing looks complicated.....

Meanwhile, I will practice on my beautiful granddaughters.....

Brand New Kitchen

Using more of the August Full Tart Kit from Lime Tart,
this is my take on sketch # 102 over at Creative Scrappers....

The sketch by Monika Pawlowska....

I'm a wee bit behind, they've posted # 103 already, but,
that's me....

Papers are Cosmo Cricket 'Early Bird' and the c/s is Bazzill....

Specialty paper by Michael Miller 50s Kitchen Fabric....

Title - Jenni Bowlin Chalkboard Alpha
Buttons - Jenni Bowlin
Martha Stewart punch....

Which means this also qualifies for the challenge over
at Practical Scrappers this week - to use punches....
www.practicalscrappers.com

Photo is DD and DGD Rebekah in the kitchen of their
brand new home, when they moved into it in February
last year, just before baby Emma was born....

Onto sketch # 103 next - so many challenges and
so little time.....
