Happy Easter

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter
with family and friends

Don't eat too much chocolate!!!

I bought the gorgeous bunny
in the photo's in a beautiful shop
Tracey and I found on our
recent trip to Melbourne, Australia.

 He was a great buy,
because he doesn't weigh anything
 - great for the baggage allowance...lol!!

I've been having a little play with
 candles and some stamps...

Transferring the stamped images
using tissue paper and greaseproof paper

Some ribbon and roses from my stash

The stamps are by
Teresa Collins,
 Heartfelt Creations
 and Hero Arts.

Melbourne Expo Kits

Hi everybody

Thought I would pop in to show
you some of the stuff I was
 up to while in
Australia recently

My scrappy buddy, Tracey,
and I went to Melbourne for
 the weekend and attended the
 Scrapbooking Expo.

While there I purchased a few kits
to keep me going, not being able
to take too much stuff with
me from Scotland - baggage allowance!!!!!

At the Craft Queen booth they
had this beautiful kit by the
 uber talented Cathy Cafun
 - I couldn't resist.

The kit contained all the supplies
 to make these three layouts
 - and I love them!

First layout is oldest Granddaughter,
Rebekah

Second layout is a photo Tracey
took of me in the Victoria Gardens
 in Melbourne

And finally, another photo
 in Melbourne.
I made a few changes to this page,
to make it a wee bit more feminine,
 it was a boy page.
I added the butterflies and bows
 - not too much!

The papers are
 Kaiser "75 cents" collection

It's nice to do a kit from
time to time, so much quicker,
 and lots of fun.

I bought a few other kits and will
 showcase them soon

Green Tara flower

was in a bit of a rush.

Happy with overall design,

Could have chosen prettier.
No mind.

SOUS Sketch Reveal

Welcome to the latest Sketch from
 and oh boy,
 I've stepped out of my
 comfort zone again.

My take on Sandi's beautiful sketch

Sandi's sketch, which was inspired by Julie Winks

The papers for this great layout
are from
 Kaiser "Miss Nelly" collection

And there is so much paint
on this page that it has
 totally buckled - too funny...lol

I have fussy cut lots of the
 beautiful flowers from the paper

Masking with the
Tattered Angels Glimmer Screen "Fanciful"
 and Glimmer Mist "Black Cherry"

The corner chippie is Dusty Attic
"Ornate Corner #8"

Lots of white paint brushed on
the page, and around the photo's
and flower edges

To mat the photo's I have used
 Spellbinders "Stately Circles" and
 "Standard Circles"

The little flowers scattered
through are Prima
"Painterly Petals Hydrangeas Pink"

The photo's are gorgeous
 Granddaughters Rebekah and Emma,
 taken last year.

Now head over to
and join in our sketch challenge.

You have two weeks to upload
 your layout and we will
come by and leave you some
scrappy love.

While you are over at SOUS,
you will see the creations of
my fellow DT girls - we have a
very talented group of girls
- love being part of this team.

Til next time

Holiday Update

Just a few photo's from Oz

That's me three weeks into
 my four week stay
 here in Brisbane

Time goes so quickly.....

Tracey, Lizzie, Annette and I
 had lunch together
 at a lovely cafe
 in Toowoomba.

So wonderful to be able to meet
up with fellow DT girls from
the Stuck On U Sketches Team,
who have now become very firm
 friends - Go Scrapbooking.....

Tracey and I had a great
weekend in Melbourne, where
 we attended the
Scrapbook Expo,
and a wee bit of girlie shopping...

This is us in one of the many
 beautiful malls in Melbourne....

At the Expo I finally got to
 meet the gorgeous
Jane Tregenza.

I love this girls work with G45
and I have been following her
book tutorial on the G45 Blog.
We are into the eighth month
 of her tutorials, and I
am up to date.

Will be posting the completed
 project here on my Blog
 when we get it finished...

Then, this weekend past,
hubby and I went to Sydney.

We lived in Perth, Australia
 for 12 years and
 never got here.

So, we decided at the
last minute, to squeeze in a
 weekend. And, oh my,
what a city....

The iconic Harbour Bridge
 and the Opera House,
 of course....

Then over to Bondi Beach....

And the view from our
 hotel room - perfect....

And the weather was beautiful....

Have also managed to get
a little bit of scrapping done,
with limited supplies,
brought from Scotland
 with me...

This is oldest Granddaughter,
 Rebekah, when she was
 nine months old (2007)

A photo I took myself
and have been planning
 to scrap since then
 - done at last....

That's me for now

Hugs
