SOUS Sketch Reveal

Sweet Summertime.

Not too far away now.

Although we have had it pretty mild
 here in Scotland!

No snow this winter in my part
of the country.

So, still no snow photo's with my
 beautiful girls!

Anyway....

Here is my take on our
 new sketch
over at

The great sketch from our
own Leah...

The papers are from
Simple Stories
"100 Days of Summer"
 collection.

 The laughter rub on is
 from Kaiser.

Lots of elements from
 the papers and
 die cut sheet....

Flowers by Prima
 "Perle Bebe Doodle-Deux"
 which I have dotted all
 over the page...lol

Flourishes are a
 Tattered Lace Die
 "Ornamental Rose"
which I cut apart to
 embellish the flowers.

Happy with this lovely
sunny page, and my
 two Granddaughters,
 Rebekah & Emma.

Remember, we still have
 this months prize up for
 grabs, for submitting an entry
 into any of our challenges
 through January,
Sketch, Die Cut or Project Life.

The prize is from
and totally fabbo it
 looks too!

So, head on over to
and see what the rest of
 the DT girls have done
 with the sketch, and hopefully
 we'll all be coming to
 look at your take
on it too.

Until next time

Hugs

50th Reverse Canvas Book Box!

Thought I would pop in today
to show the card and gift I made
 for my cousin's
50th Birthday
 yesterday.

The card and its box...

Made with
 Spellbinders
 "Grand Labels Four"

Spellbinders
"Floral Ovals"

Webster's Trim

Skeleton Leaves
 and
 flowers from my stash.

The beautiful bow - a triple loop, double bow.
Made with the Zutter "Bow-It-All"

I have had a few bow making tools
over the years, but let me
tell you girls - this is
 THE ONE!

I have always admired the stunning bows
that our card making sisters are
 producing and never thought I
 would be able to
 reproduce them!

Now I can, in just a few minutes!

This was only my second attempt
(didn't pull centre tight enough at first go!).

I am sooooo delighted with
 this tool.

I'll showcase some other bows
I have made on
another post
 - so easy!

For the gift I made a
 Reverse Canvas Book Box
of Envelopes!

The canvas is 10 x 10 inches.

Pion Designs Paper
 "Studio of Memories"

Marianne Creatables
 "Anja's Vintage Frames"

The envelopes were all made
 using the
We R Memory Keepers
"Envelope Punch Board".

8 envelopes in total,
in the recess of the canvas,
 tied with an organza ribbon.

Lace trims from stash.

The bow on the front of the box
 was again made using the
 Zutter
 "Bow-It-All".

I hope you enjoyed seeing
my projects.

I loved making them,
 and my cousin was thrilled.

Happy Days.

See you again soon.

Hugs

SOUS Sketch Reveal

Hi Everyone....

I'm here today with the latest
Sketch Reveal
from

This week's sketch is by our Leah,
and I have rotated it clockwise
 to suit these great photo's
of two of my Granddaughters
 doing
 "Gangnam Style"

Leah's Sketch - rotated.

The photo's were taken at
 Emma's 4th birthday
 party last year.

The Musical Notes chippie
 is by Dusty Attic,
which I have stippled with
 white acrylic paint.

The papers are from the great
 "Lyric" Collection
from Prima.

I have also 'attacked' the rest
 of the page
 (not very successfully, me thinks),
with the white paint,
 in an attempt to achieve
 the grungy effect,
which I'm not really a fan of, but.....

I am happy with the overall
look of the page, and the girls love it.
What more could a
Granny ask for....lol.

Now head on over to the
Blog at
to see what the rest of
 the team have done with
 the sketch, and then
 you must enter your layout,
using the sketch,
to the challenge.

Remember, we now have
monthly sponsors.

This month's sponsor is

On offer to the January Winner,
which includes the Sketches,
 Die Cut and
Project Life Challenges,
are these great prizes.

Can't wait to see what you
come up with.

Looking forward to visiting
 you on your Blogs.

Until next time.

Hugs
