SOUS Sketch Reveal

Welcome to Sketch Reveal Day
 from

The sun is shining here in
Scotland - a rare occurrence.
We are having the coldest spring
 since 1979...

I'm amazed I managed to get
 these photographs of my
 three Granddaughters in April,
in the garden at my old house.
I even managed to get the castle
 in the photo's.

I particularly love the expressions
on the little ones faces!!
Pure exertion.
"Granny, why are we running
 up and down the Garden?"

"Don't ask questions.
Just do it.
And HOLD HANDS"

Too funny....

This week's sketch from our Leah....

The gorgeous papers I have used
are from one of the new
 Kaiser collections
 "Porcelain Rose"

And the Collectables from
 the same collection.

The title "Happiness"
 is a Kaiser rub-on.

The Cherish Bingo Card
 is also Kaiser.

Martha Stewart punch "Lace Doily"

The pink bloom is Kaiser
 and the wee bit ribbon
from my stash.

American Crafts "Vanilla" cardstock.

A final spritz with
Glimmer Mist "Vintage Pink",
 which sadly does not show
 in the photo's.

Happy with final page.

Now, head on over to the
Stuck On U Sketches Blog
 where you will be wowed
by the talent of the rest
 of the DT.
And you have two weeks
 to upload your own layout
 using the sketch.

Also over at the SOUS Blog,
new things are in the air.

We are announcing a
 new challenge
- beginning in June.

Every other Monday,
 starting 3rd June,
we will be hosting
 Project Life Challenges.

We are looking forward to
making some new friends
 with these challenges and
 hopefully bringing a whole
new way to inspire you all!

A new challenge also means
 a new Design Team.

The response to our recent DT Call
 was amazing, and the formal
 introductions of our new
 team members will be held
 with their first challenges
 in June.

All the details can be
found at the

We hope you will join us
in our new Project Life Challenges,
 along with the on going
Sketch Challenges
 and Die Cut Challenges.

See you over at SOUS!

Hugs

The LAST SOUS Card Sketch Reveal

Oh Dear!!!!

This is such a sad post for me today.

Yes, the title is correct.

This is the very last
 Card Sketch Reveal
 from

There are so many new and
 wonderful things coming up
 over at SOUS,
 that something had to give,
 and sadly it is the
 Card Team.

I have had fun dabbling
 with these little
 creations, and
will miss them.

And just when I have found
 the perfect place to take
their photo's - the view of
 my new front garden,
all nice and green
- something to do with the fact
 that it rains here
 - EVERY day!!!!!!

And, my gorgeous little cherub
 will now be redundant....

So sad....

However, I am remaining on the
 Layout Sketch Team.

We are losing some of
our Design Team, and I
wish them well, it has been
 a pleasure designing with them.

But, there are some new
 girls joining the team,
and their introductions and
further details of the new
 adventures will be appearing
 on the SOUS Blog
 pretty soon.

So stay tuned for all the details....

In the meantime,
here is my final card
 using the final card sketch
 at
 (so sad....)

Leah's sketch...

I have opted for a sympathy card,
in view of the circumstances,
and felt the sentiment
was perfect...

The paper is from the
DCWV
 "Immortal Love"
matstack.

The sentiment is from
 Just Rite stamps

Spellbinders
 "Lattice Motifs"
 and
 "Classic Ovals"

The pretty little blooms and leaves
 are from Petaloo
"Mini Roses Clusters - All White"

So, now you must head
 over to
 and see the final card
 creations from the
 rest of the
 Card Sketch Team.....

And you simply must
 take part in this
 final card sketch
 challenge.

See you over at SOUS

Hugs

SOUS Sketch Reveal

Hello peeps, sorry I've been
a wee bit quiet over the last
couple of weeks, but I am
 finally settling into my
 new house.

Remember, hubby is in Australia,
so I have had to do the whole move
 ON MY OWN!!!

And I have a whole lot of stuff
 - where does it all come from?

I swear, scrapbooking has
taken over my life,
and my home
 - I must clear out!!!

So, with that positive (NOT)
 thought in my head,
 onto the fab new
 sketch reveal over at

I went with the Christmas theme
because I wanted to get this beautiful
photo of DD and her family scrapped,
not because I have way too
much Christmas themed paper
 in my stash....lol

My interpretation
of this week's sketch...

The fabbo sketch by our own
 co-leader, Leah

The papers I have used are
 Kaiser "Turtle Dove"
 and the Collectables
 from the collection.

I rolled three of the dp's across
the page and edged them with
tinsel trim and Christmas tree trim
 from my stash.

The numbers are from the
 Marah Johnson collection by
 Creative Imaginations.

The flower is Prima "Holiday Red".

The Velvet Trinkets are
 "Welcome To Paris",
also from Prima.
They are too cute.

Thanks for dropping into my wee blog,
now go see over at
my fellow DT's work is great,
 so many amazing interpretations
 of the same sketch,
 which will hopefully inspire you
to have a go at the
sketch yourself, and join us
 for a chance at
 Top 3.

See you over at SOUS!

Hugs
