SOUS Sketch Reveal

Helloooo....

It's Friday...

Sketch Reveal Day
 at

And a great sketch from
 our own Leah to
 play with...

So happy with this one....

Leah's great sketch....

I had a lot of fun adding
 all the little embellishments
 to this page.

The papers are
"Miss Match"
 from
 Kaiser.

With the Collectables from
 "These Days"
from
Kaiser.

The butterfly stamp is also
from
Kaiser
 "Bonjour".

I have randomly stamped
 the background paper
with the
"Botanical" stamp
 from
 Kaiser.

The gorgeous fairy is
 from a new die from
 Tonic
called
"Fae Hideaway"

The wee frame is a
 Katy Sue
 mould with some
 Air Dry Clay,
 which I have finished with
Pinflair Buff-It in
 Antique Silver.

The "Victorian Picket Fence"
 is from
 Cheery Lynn.

The leaf sprays are a gorgeous
 die from
 Tattered Lace
 "Foliage Leaves"
and the roses are from my stash.

And a photo of my three
 beautiful
 Granddaughters!

Remember, this month you
 will be playing for a
 $15 voucher
 from the

Can't wait to see your
 take on the sketch.

So, head on over to the
 for some more stunning
 inspiration from my
fellow DT girls.

We are also, sadly,
saying farewell to a
 few of the girls from
 the Sketch Team.

However, not long until we
 introduce the new members
to the Team following
our recent DT Call.

So, hop on over to
 SOUS
 for all the details.

See you there.....

Hugs for now

Sketch Reveal at SOUS!

Good morning everyone.

Welcome to another
 sketch reveal
 at

This is a layout I have had
 in the planning stages
 for many years!

You all know how old
this paper collection
is - right!

When it was first released
 I knew just what
 photo to use!

Finally the papers
 and the photo
 have come
 together....lol

And Leah's great sketch
 was the perfect
 catalyst!

The papers are of course
 from Kaiser.

"Shaken Not Stirred"
 Collection. (OMG!!)

Not too much by the way
 of techniques, but this page
 came together
VERY quickly.

It is also quite flat,
 perfect for the album.

Always conscious of
 reducing bulk!

The fab photo is daughter
and son-in-law after a
night at the Casino
 in Perth, WA, back
 in January 2007.

I am so happy to have finally
 made my vision
reality...lol

After making another couple
 of layouts with the papers,
 another collection has
 been used up - I'm
 on a mission!

For the month of May,
at SOUS, we are being
 sponsored by a great
 Kit Blog

So make sure and get your entries
in for the great challenges we
 set each month,
 Sketch Layouts,
 Die Cutting
 and
 Project Life.

Now, head on over to the
 and see the beautiful work
of my fellow DT girls
 with todays sketch.

Love & Hugs

Mood Board Reveal for May at Black With 2!

Hello everybody....

May already!

The 1st of the month means
 Reveal Day
at

And, boy, is there a lot
happening over at
 the
BW2 Blog
today!

It is the announcement of our new DT!

But before you go and
 meet the new girls on
 the team, here is my
 interpretation of the
 May Mood Board.

The two colours this month are
Soft Grey & Dark Slate
the word to use is 'Life'
and there is a sketch to follow.

May's Mood Board...

We also have these gorgeous
new frames on the blog
to showcase our layouts.

 Designed by fellow DT girl
 and good friend
Annette Gearside.
Love the font!

I must admit, I did struggle
 a bit with these colours,
 or lack of colours!

But, happy with the
 final outcome.

Pretty obvious where the
photo is - hubby and
 the Sydney Harbour
Bridge.

Certainly one of
 Life's Moments!

The border punch,
which I thought emulated
 the Bridge, upside down,
 is a
Tonic punch
 'Voile Valance Border'.

Chippies from
 Kaiser
 and
Twiddleybitz.

Tattered Angels mask.
and
 American Crafts black cardstock.

Remember, we have
monthly sponsors at
 Black with 2.

For May we have

And our continuing sponsorship
 from

Now, head on over to the
and meet the new DT girls,
 and see their awesome work
 with this month's
 Mood Board.

You're in for a treat.

See you there.

Hugs
