SOUS #142

WOW!

What an amazing two weeks
it has been here in the
 good ole USofA.

We are on our way home as
 this goes live.
(Hopefully on time!)

The latest sketch from

I think this is amongst my favourites,
and I struggled a wee bit when
 I saw the sketch from
 our Leah!

Leah's Sketch.

Clyde, as some of you will be aware,
was the mascot for the
 2014 Commonwealth Games,
 held here in Glasgow,
during the summer.

Clyde is a thistle,
 in case you were
 wondering....lol!!

There are 25 of these
wonderful statues scattered
 throughout the
 City of Glasgow.

We managed to find three
of them on a recent
 trip into the city!

They are all wearing
 different 'outfits'.

Oldest Granddaughter, Rebekah,
 and youngest, Emma.

Papers used are
 Kaiser "75 Cents".

Collectables from the
 same collection.

Some random (me, random!!)
punching with
 Martha Stewart
"Iron Gate".

Loving the colourful photo's
 against the muted papers.

A new favourite!

Remember to head over to
 and join in the new
 challenge sketch.

Mega prizes to be won too.

We are also celebrating the
5th Birthday
 of
Stuck On U Sketches
 this month.

All the details of the
 Blog Hops
happening are at the
 SOUS Blog.

I will update when I get home to Scotland!

Thanks for dropping in.

Be back soon.

Hugs

BW2 September Mood Board

Totally gorgeous colour palette
 this month from

Certainly a Mood Board
 to go out with
 a bang on!

Yes, this is my last
 Design Team
 project for
BW2!

Eve is the wonderful owner/designer
of Black With 2, and it
has been a pleasure to design
 for her using the
Monthly Mood Boards,
 and certainly a challenge!

I can't believe that has
 been a year!

My first BW2 layout was
 in September 2013.

Time sure flies past.

So with that,
 here is my final layout
 for
 Black With 2.

Sadly, on translation to Blogger,
 the shocking pink I
 have used looks
 red!!

The background stencil is from
 Crafters Workshop
 "Mini Snakeskin".

Scraps of paper from
 Sassafrass Lass
 (really old!).

The Prima flowers were not
 quite the right colour,
so I painted them!
 Hee hee.
With bright pink
 acrylic paint.

Yellow leafy swirls cut from
 Heartfelt Creations
 "Belle Rose",
then run through
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
 "Herringbone".

Certainly one of the brightest
 layouts I've made!

So, it's goodbye to
 from me.

Have enjoyed the journey Eve.

Hugs
