SOUS DT Reveal

OK - I missed Friday (again), but I'm here now....LOL

Yesterday was reveal day over at Stuck On U Sketches.....

And this is my interpretation of the great sketch designed by our own Leah Schaeffer......

Leah's sketch.....

The beautiful papers are from Echo Park's 'Apothecary Emporium' collection.....

The photo mats are Core'dinations cardstock, which have been embossed with the Cuttlebug folder 'Pumpkin Harvest' and Craft Concepts folder 'Drip Drop', and then sanded to reveal the core colour.....

The title "Spooky" has been cut on Cricut from the Happy Hauntings cartridge at 2.5inches....

Loving all the layers of papers, and the distressing of all edges - no inking.....

The cats are again Dusty Attic (there were four in the pack, I used the other two on the last post layout). These cats are inked with black and a wee bit of white paper behind the eyes....

The crow tag has been cut from the papers and distressed, awaiting photo's of granddaughters to add to the layout and a wee bit of journaling will go on this tag.....

I have curled back the top right corner to reveal more of the web paper, and stamped a couple of wee spiders (Making Memories) onto the web....

Happy with the final layout.....

Why not head on over to SOUS and see what my fellow DT girls have been up to, their interpretations of the same sketch are great, I am so happy to be a part of this awesome team....

NOW - where have you all been in regards to my giveaway????

Does nobody want these gorgeous LaBlanche stamps?????

Plenty of visitors to my blog since last Friday, according to my stats counter - but 0 comments....

I have added in these weeks candy, two stunning designs from Zva Creative, along with the stamps....

Again, two sets of these to give away......

Simply leave a comment, make sure you are a Follower of my blog and I will draw two winners next Friday - If anyone chooses to comment.....

And, here is a clue to next week's candy.....

These are all duplicates of my own stash, I had to buy in multiples at CHA.....

The alternative is that I sell them on ETSY, but isn't it more fun to win, than to have to pay for them.....

I have enough to see us through to Christmas, so the more you comment, your bound to win, eventually......

Til next Friday....

Hugs

LaBlanche

Hello!!

I'm here, on Friday, I remembered....LOL

This week I would like to share with you some beautiful stamps which I discovered at Winter CHA in January, and which I am sure you have all come across by now, a German company called
LaBlanche Stamps....

The exquisite detail in these light as a feather silicone stamps is amazing, and they stamp crisp and clear every time....

I have been playing with this little stamp called "Foxglove".....

Beautifully packaged.....

The detail is amazing.....

I started with the obvious option - black Archival Ink on plain white card.....

No further action on this one....

Again, black Archival on white card, then coloured with Distress Inks.....

Distress colours used - Victorian Velvet, Fired Brick and Forest Moss.....

Again, black Archival on white card, coloured with Distress Inks....

Distress colours used - Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans and Bundled Sage.....

Next, using a Versamark pad and white heat embossed on white card. Card then coloured with Distress Ink....

I used Tattered Rose Distress Ink to completely cover the white card, then wiped over the white embossing to make it pop.....

Next, using the Versamark pad, and heat embossed with gold on white card. Card again coloured with Distress Ink.....

For this card I used Bundled Sage to completely cover the white card, and then buffed the embossing to make it shine.....

And, finally, again gold embossed on white card. White coloured with Antique Linen Distress Ink, and embossing buffed.....

Here are my six samples....

Now to turn them into cards.....

Next I had a play with the "Indian Bean Tree".....

Again, stamped with Archival on white card and coloured with Distress Inks.....

Distress colours used - Spiced Marmalade, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy, Weathered Wood and Bundled Sage.....

I covered the sample with two layers of UTEE and then cracked it - love this effect.....

Still need to turn this sample into a project - one day....LOL

Here are the two stamps I have used.....

Well, these are not the actual stamps I have used, these ones are brand new, mine are safely in my stash....LOL

I have two sets of these two beautiful stamps to give away to my followers.....

Leave a comment on this post, make sure you are a follower of my blog, and I will draw TWO winners next Friday (28th)....

Too easy....

See you next week for SOUS Reveal Day, the winners of this week's Candy, and next week's candy....

See you then....

Hugs

SOUS DT Reveal Day

It's reveal day over at Stuck On U Sketches.....

How great is this original sketch, by our very own Leah Schaeffer....

For my layout I rotated the sketch 90 degrees.....

Papers used are Echo Park's 'The Apothecary Emporium' Collection....

Martha Stewart punch 'Deep Edge Daisy Fan' with orange cardstock, which I covered in Do Crafts glitter....

Ribbon trim is Prima....

The Pumpkin & Bats Vine is from Prima 'Trick or Treat Jack Vine' - how could I resist...LOL

The cats are Dusty Attic 'Scaredy Cats', which I again covered in Do Crafts glitter (different colour).....

The Elixir tag is from the paper collection, to which I have added a wee bit more glitter.....

The title - Witchy Cat - is American Crafts Thickers 'Bliss'....

Photo is youngest granddaughter Emma, last Hallowe'en.....

Now, for the month of October over at SOUS, we have a great giveaway sponsored by Generations Crafting, for all participants of the sketch and diecut challenges.....

So, paper and glue ready, get your projects up over at SOUS and be in with a chance to win this awesome candy.....
