Walkabout Wednesday for SGL

A lovely welcome to this week's Walkabout Wednesday layout for Scrappy Go Lucky....

This week featuring my middle Granddaughter, Erin, who is now 2....

The sketch is by Tanya Leigh, from Little Shop of Sketches, who has kindly given permission for me to use her sketches...

This was her first sketch from 2008, and as there is not a lot of detail to the sketch, I have taken the opportunity of providing a short tutorial over at the Scrappy Go Lucky post...

For all the details head over to the Scrappy Go Lucky Blog, and let me know any cartridges you would like featured....

Mandy is currently giving away the Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art cartridge - simply for commenting on any of this weeks posts - Gotta Be In It To Win It.....LOL

And on Friday - April Fool's Day - Mandy will be revealing her biggest giveaway EVER!! You'd be a FOOL not to be in it!!

Wafi Mall - SOUS

Hello everyone - thanks for dropping in again....

Today I have my interpretation of the current sketch over at Stuck On U Sketches....

The sketch, by Becky Fleck....

Using my January 2010 Full Tart from Lime Tart....

The papers are Bo Bunny "Gypsy" collection....

The blue vine is Prima, of course, "Flutter Vines" Pacific Blue....

The rub ons are Heidi Swapp "Fuzzy Flowers" white - boy, were they hard to transfer or what, but they have a lovely velvet texture, well worth the extra elbow grease...

The single blue flower is also Prima "Strawberry Kisses"

The title is Scenic Route "Quincy Alpha Stickers"

And the wee bit blue lace was in the kit.....

The photo's are from one of the smaller malls in Dubai, but boy, do they go to town on the decor. This mall had an Egyptian theme.

The largest mall in Dubai, "Dubai Mall", at the tallest building in the world site, wasn't opened yet when we were there in 2007. We went to that one last year (2010) on our way to Scotland, and they sure don't do things by half in Dubai. Photo's from that Mall one day....LOL

Well, thanks for dropping in - till next time....

Bo Bunny Sketch Challenge

I thought I would have a go at the latest sketch over at Bo Bunny.......

The sketch, by Robbie Herring....

Felt good to use some gorgeous Bunny papers that I have had forever....

The Collection is "Abbey Road" - Sky, Stripe and Cut Outs...

The flowers are Bo Bunny "Love Bandit"

The title is Bo Bunny "Shabbalicious"....

Some Kaiser pearls, Bazzill cardstock and Martha Stewart punch - Garden Trellis....

The photo's were taken at a local garden centre a few years back, just because I loved the abundance of blooms......

However, I must learn to back off a bit when taking photo's, they are far too close in. Great for detail, though not so good for layouts...

Had fun with this layout - and lots of fussy cutting - that sheet was my favourite, and now there's none left - not very often I say that. I tend to hang on to every little scrap of paper - just in case.... lol

Thanks for dropping in again....

Grandma's Little Angels

After completing the last two sketch challenges, I thought I would keep going with my Lime Tart March Full Tart Kit and use it up - I managed another layout and three cards....

The Prima bouquet was not in the kit, but I have had it for a while, not quite knowing where to use it - see, everything gets used - eventually...

Below is a close up of one of the beautiful Hambley's rub-ons that were in the kit...

I have used Glimmer Mist on the butterflys (in kit) and on the Pink Paislee Artisan Elements (not in kit)

Three cards with the leftovers, including the Martha Stewart Doilies (in the kit) that just didn't seem to go with any of the layouts....
