SOUS DT Reveal - Hever Castle

Good Friday everyone

It's reveal day over at

With an interesting sketch from our Sandi

Lots of circles.....

Sandi's Sketch....

Now, I have a confession to make

I am starting to get a bit fed up
with these papers now (can you tell?)

And, I bet you all saw it coming...lol

And that damn coat I'm wearing
- it's in every photo!!!

Anyway....

These photos are from a day trip
we took out of London to the beautiful
County of Kent,
about an hour from London

Hever Castle was the
childhood home of Anne Boleyn
- second wife of Henry VIII
and mother of Queen Elizabeth I

Papers are the "Portobello Road"
Collection from Papermania
(as if you didn't know)

I made the paper rosette
with the Tim Holtz die "Paper Rosette"

The flowers, little roses
and leaves are from my stash
The large flower centre is a
Prima centre "Monarch Red"

Around the edge of the papers
I have used the Martha Stewart
 PATP "Layered Arches"

The title is computer generated
onto a Spellbinders "Fancy Tags Two"
die and a wee bit Tim Holtz
 Distress Ink "Weathered Wood"
I cut the various circles
using Spellbinders "Classsic Circles" small.

Done and dusted.

It might be a wee while
before you see these papers again,
but I do have quite a few left,
so, we'll see...lol

Now, you must head over to
and see what my fellow DT girls
have done with this sketch

They are all super talented girls,
and there is a lot of inspiration there

Then why not join us and
upload your interpretation of the sketch

Looking forward to seeing you there

Hugs for now

I know how you feel. I've been working on some summer layouts lately with the same papers and basically the same types of photos and it's starting to wear on me! LOL! Love how you've layered your papers and how you've embellished your pinwheel!

Lol Jane!imcant say I blame you, I think that is why I prefer to scrap random photos so it stays fresh for me! I do love your take on the sketch and can't wait to see what you do with different colored paper! ;)

Loving this page and thinking to myself .. why did I not think to use my Spellbinders for those circles, duh!!

This is a great page .. and no, the papers are not getting old because each page has been so different. But I totally relate!

Hope you have a great weekend! So glad to have you back on the team!
