SOUS DT Reveal & Storage

Yay - it's Friday. Reveal day over at Stuck On U Sketches....

We had a great sketch to work with this week, created by our own Sandi Clarkson....

This is my interpretation of our sketch....

Sandi's sketch....

I have used the great 'Magic of Oz' collection from Graphic 45....

With a beautiful photo of Judy Garland as Dorothy with Toto....

I have cut the tag from the papers. Distressed and inked...

A square brad and some black grosgrain ribbon to complete....

And some journaling on the back.....

All the papers are distressed and inked....

The only embellishment I have added is the Zva poppy bling.....

I love Judy Garland, and I'm so glad I was able to create this layout. I hope to do more of her in the future.....

Over at the SOUS blog we also have candy for the month of September.....

Generously donated by Alda Stevens at Flying Unicorn Store....

The winner will be chosen from all the participants in this month's challenges - sketches and die-cut....

The more you play, the more chances you have to win. The projects must be NEW, as of the date of the challenge, to be entered in the drawing....

So, what are you waiting for. Pull out your papers and photo's, use our sketch, and you'll have a masterpiece in no time....LOL

See you at SOUS....

Now, to more of my scrappy room storage.....

The second wall in my room....

I can't show you inside the draws in the big chest - they're way too untidy!!!!

The little chest, top draw - bling!!!!!

Middle draw - leaves....

Bottom draw - embossing plates and dies for use in my Big Shot.....

Oh look! This is the top draw of the large chest of drawers - more Prima flowers!!!!

Ribbon storage - by colour.....

I tried wrapping the ribbons round dolly pins (clothes pegs), but, it was too tidy (!!!) and the ribbons went curly! So, when I want a piece of ribbon, I just pull out the relevant draw and dump the whole thing on my table, and rummage - great fun.....

On top of the little chest is a Kaiser OTP storage thingy...

More bits and bobs (I seem to have a lot of little bits and bobs!!!), various sprays and more Glimmermists....

In the built in robe I have bags that are too nice to discard hanging on coat hangers. I have no idea where I got this idea, but I did source it from the Net. I'm sure there's important stuff in these bags....LOL

The shelf in the built in robe has some Ikea metal storage boxes, these contain my German Scraps, Collections (company) elements, chipboard....

Next post I will show what's in the Ikea Expedit unit - the pretty boxes....

Meanwhile, hope to see your interpretation of our sketch over at SOUS.....

Hugs
