It's Friday
It's Midsummer's Day
It's Sketch Reveal Day
at
And here is my interpretation of
this week's sketch
The great sketch from our Sandi
Pont is bridge in French.
The Alexander III Bridge in Paris
The papers I have used are the
"Bonjour" Collection from Kaiser.
I have been hoarding these
papers forever, because
I knew I would get back to
Paris one day.
So happy to finally use them.
Lots of fussy cutting of
the little flowers on the
papers and
the butterflies.
One of which I have placed
in a little frame I made myself
using a
Martha Stewart mould
and Air Dry Clay - so easy.
You'll be seeing a lot of these
little frames, because I can
make as many as I want
for a fraction of the cost - cool fun!
I have tied a wee bit
of green organza ribbon,
from my stash,
to the little frame.
I have used the
Martha Stewart
Punch Around the Page
"Rain Drop"
The large pre-made flower is
Prima "Eminence"
The photo (of moi)
has been matted 4 times,
and actually reminds me
of the way we used to get
our school photo's presented
- now, that was a
long time ago...lol
The title alphas are
Making Memories "Diva Shimmer"
and
Basic Grey "Basics Micro Mono"
American Crafts black cardstock.
This layout was made in a hurry,
to meet the DT deadline,
having spent four more
days in Paris than we
intended to....lol
The first of many layouts
featuring our trip.
But, I have learnt my lesson
from my London trip last year.
I'm NOT going to be doing
the whole album with the same
collection of papers!!!!
Although I have done our
Fiji photo's with one collection
- Kaiser's "Tropicana" Collection.
I will need to get them up on
my blog for you to see, soon.
Anyway, you must now
head on over to the
and see what my fellow DT girls
have done with the sketch
- we have some amazing
talent on our Team.
Hopefully, you will also
get a chance to try out the
sketch yourself. We would
love to see your
interpretations.
See you over at SOUS.
Hugs
