Hello Ladies - and Gents
(Sorry Curt!!)
I was browsing the Net (as one does)
and came across a great sketch
over at
This is a technique I have been
wanting to try for some time,
having seen it on numerous
layouts around the blogs.
The sketch, below,
was the perfect opportunity.
The March Sketch from
Yes, I know I'm cutting it a bit fine....
The papers are from the
"Little Black Dress"
collection from Basic Grey.
The Flourishes are a die from
Marianne Designs.
I took this candid photo of
gorgeous daughter when we
were out for lunch last Christmas.
One of those fluke photo's
that was not at all planned
- one of my fav's now.
I never thought I would
be able to scrap it - never say never....
Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page
"Vintage Floral"
Sparklets from Kaiser "Ebony"
Flowers by Prima
"Innoscence 2" (their spelling, not mine!)
and "Gillian Cinder"
Title alpha from October Afternoon
"Mini Market"
The squares on the background
are cut 1.5 inches and distressed.
Quite time consuming,
and then you cover half of them,
but happy to have given this technique a go.
Really happy with this page,
and, thank you to
for the sketch.
Hugs
