I HAVE to use all these beautiful Prima products I collect....
Here is my layout...
The sketch for May....
Papers are Prima "Flights of Fancy" Collection:- Firefly Blooming Happiness Faith and Tiptoe.....
I have used the Notecards from the Prima "Fairy Flora" Collection as photo mats - perfect....
Flowers are Prima "Roosevelt" Collection Carow.... Leaves are Prima Rose Leaves Prima bling flourishes....
The date is written on a Prima tag from "Flights of Fancy" Journaling stickers....
Bazzill cardstock "Tink Pink" which I have used Martha Stewart "Floral Lace" punch....
Title "Little Miss" is chipboard from Five Kids & A Dog, which I have inked with VersaColor "Topaz" and then used Making Memories Specialty Glitter Glaze to give it some sparkle....
The photo's are gorgeous DGD # 3 from November last year.....
Me thinks I will have to take part in Prima's monthly challenges from hence forth - at least I can now SEE my gorgeous products - they're not stuck in a draw.....
This may well be my last post for a wee while, although I'm going to try and do the Kaiser May Sketch # 2 before I go. My flight's not until 10.30pm.....
But, if I don't get back with that, I'll see you in about three weeks - I'm off to hug the most adorable little girls on the planet - in my opinion....LoL
Good Monday morning everybody. ths sun is shining here in Oz, though it's cold (yep, it gets cold down under!!!), and I'm off to book my flights to Scotland - can't wait to see my three gorgeous granddaughters.....
Meanwhile, here is my card for the current challenge over at Birthday Sundaes - Pearls and Lace....
Using papers and lace from my Lime Tart February 2010 Full Tart, My Mind's Eye "Life Stories" Collection....
The Happy Birthday stamp is from TPC Studio "Flourish Text"......
The chandelier stamp is Papermania "Chatsworth Vintage" Collection, which I have adhered Kaiser pearls to....
A wee bit of ribbon from stash, some inking, and another lovely card done....
Thanks for comiong by girls, and all your lovely comments, which I really enjoy reading and totally appreciate.... Hugs
BTW - my next post will be a layout I have made USING Prima papers - I HAVE USED PRIMA PAPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't swoon over them and put them away again - I USED them....LoL
Happy Friday everybody - here is my take on the latest sketch over at Stuck On U Sketches....
The sketch, by DT member Crafty-Ness....
Again working with my Lime Tart May 2011 A La Tarte.....
Papers are the gorgeous "Laced with Grace" Collection from Glitz....
The huge flower is Prima, as is the bling and pearls flourish, which I chopped up to fit my layout....
The wee letters are Basic Grey....
The photograph is my great uncle William (my maternal Grandmother's brother) and his first wife, Grace. I never knew Aunt Grace, she died before I was born....
But, I remember Uncle Willie, one of my 'old uncles'.....
I had three 'old uncles', Robert, Willie and John. They always used to give us money for sweets when we would go on holiday to Scotland (I grew up in the RAF, away from Scotland). None of the uncles had any children, and they, and the aunties, are all gone now....
This is where I hope my scrapbooking will preserve their existence for generations to come - no more nameless photo's.....
Thanks again to the beautiful girls at SOUS and their fortnightly sketches - they keep my scrapping mojo alive....
And not forgetting the fantastic kits I get each month from Lime Tart - thanks Philippa.....
The papers are the gorgeous "Laced with Grace" by Glitz, as are the tags....
The title, background circle of title and the file tab are Bo Bunny.... The rhinestones are Kaiser and the brads are Creative Imaginations....
The flowers, lace, flourish and swing tickets were in a wee bag in the kit....
The photograph is DS and gorgeous DGD # 2 from Easter this year, back home in Scotland - will see them soon..... yay....
********
Meanwhile, things have returned to normal over at Scrappy Go Lucky, now that the Easter holidays are over. Which means my Walkabout Wednesday posts have returned - yesterday actually.....
This is my latest layout. For the sketch and cartridge details head over to the Scrappy Go Lucky Blog.....
See you next time girls, thanks for dropping in.....
Challenge # 19 over at Polkadoodles is a menu - to choose one item from four categories....
Pink OR Turquoise Fairy OR Butterfly Ribbon OR Lace Pearls OR Gems....
Here is my take.....
Turquoise - Butterfly - Ribbon - Gems....
Papers and stamped images are Kaiser "Chapter One" Collection.... Rhinestones are Kaiser "Aqua Marine"....
Nestabilities "Scalloped Squares".... Ribbon from stash.... The Happy Birthday circle is from a selection given to me by Enfys - Going Buggy. Thanks Enfys....
