CHA - R & S and SOUS

First up today is my take on the latest sketch over at Stuck On U Sketches - my favourite challenge blog.....

Here is the sketch, from PageMaps....

I have used an old Lime Tart kit....

Papers are My Mind's Eye 'Ooh La La" Collection.....

Alpha is Pink Paislee - Limeade.....

Bazzill cardstock.....
Basix Blooms - Aster Sun.....

Prima Say It In Pearls Centres Pink/Blue.....

Photo's of DGDs # 1 and #3 last Easter, here in Perth.....

Now, after that slight diversion, back to my CHA review.....

RIBBON RING

Now, did I get a photo of the actual product that this booth was selling - NO!!
But, my goodness, the booth decor was off the planet....
All of these goodies are made using RIBBONS....
Enjoy.....

RODEO DRIVE
Just a couple of photo's of one of the most famous retail addresses in the world.....

The Beverly Wilshire Hotel (Pretty Woman) at one end of the Drive.....

The Beverly Hills Hotel at the other.....

THE famous view of Rodeo (I was there!!!!!).....

Looking one way down the Drive.....

Looking the other.....

SANTA MONICA

The famous Pier - where Forrest Gump finished his cross country run - remember?

The pier - sadly we didn't have time to go onto the pier - next time.....

Santa Monica is also the west end of Route 66.....

Looking up Route 66 from Santa Monica beach - all the way to Chicago......

This next photo is a bit of an eye opener - wooden power pylons!!!!!
Rush hour in most cities starts at about 3.30 in the afternoon - they say it started in LA 30 years ago and never ceased - I certainly got that impression.
Anyway - could you imagine the logistical nightmare to divert the traffic to bury these lines underground!!!!

We found Jo-Ann's in Santa Monica.....

And Michael's......

Did you read the story over on Enfys' blog about the day we hired a car to go looking for these two stores?
If you are in need of a laugh (at our expense) you must read it......

SPELLBINDERS
What a great product these guys came up with.....

New Nestabilities, Grand Nestabilities, Borderabilities, Edgeabilities, Shapeabilities, Frameabilities, Magabilities and Impressabilities - didn't realise there were so many abilities....LOL

Tons of inspiration.....

And, the Excalibur - gotta get me one of these......

CANDY TIME

The Classic Scalloped Ovals Large and Small - Indispensible for all crafters.....

Leave a comment to be in with a chance to win these two classics.....

Next post - T - Tattered Angels, Teresa Collins & Tim Holtz/Ranger.....

See you then....

Hugs
