Mum in 1962

I have been making a real effort lately to

get some unfinished projects done.....

This layout was a class with my

gorgeous friend Sue, when we both worked at

Scrapbooks From The Heart.....

The class was about a year and a half ago.....

Neither of us works there anymore,

and the layout was condemned to the

'will finish it one day box'.....

That day finally came, last week.

I put the finishing touches to the layout and

added this beautiful photo of my Mum.....

The photo was taken when I was about

three weeks old

- doesn't Mum look fab.....

That's Dad's arm around her in the photo

- I will scrap the whole photo -

and I'm also in the photo.....

But, I wanted this layout just of Mum.....



Loving all the detail in the layout,
Sue believes in lots of layering and dimension.....

I miss her classes, but we get to

scrap together a couple of times a month.....

We have what we call FTPs

- Finish Those Projects -

we're not allowed to start anything new,

and it's working - we are getting through

some layouts that haven't seen the

light of day for months, if not years.....

So, I have quite a few of these FTPs done

(and ready to post) and quite a few still to be done.....
