Mother Mini Album

This little album is in memory of my Mum. Mum passed away 24 years ago, in 1985, she was only two years older than what I am now.....

Pages cut from Accent Essentials at 5.38"

This is Mum's engagement photo, Dad is just out of the picture (need to scrap the full picture me thinks - one day....)

And, of course, this is little me - what a beautiful picture.......

Mum as a platinum blonde. She was naturally dark haired like me, but of course, in the mid 60s platinum blonde was the way.....

The 1970s

Mum, the year before she died..... Miss you Mum xx

This little verse says it all (click to enlarge)......

Dedicated to Martha, my Mum

Thanks for dropping in....

Jane, this tribute to your Mum is absolutely just beautiful and heartwarming. I looked at each page and admired it so. My mother died at age 54 when I was just 25. When I reached 54 (long ago) I realized just how very young she was when she died.
Great tribute scrapbook, Jane. I love it. Thanks for stopping by to say hi on my blog.

This is awesome, simply awesome. Actually made me cry a little bit. Your mother was so beautiful; such a tradgedy to lose her so young. You did you Mum proud my dear. Thanks for sharing her with us. Best, Curt

Oh Jane, you book about Mum is just wonderful. I agree with Curt - it made me cry a bit. I lost my Mom 5 years ago this month and miss her terribly. I do hold wonderful memories close, though, and have started a heritage scrapbook. I'm finding it very therapeutic. I love that this amazing little album is large scallops, and the colors are so soft and pretty. Your Mum was beautiful (like you). Thanks for sharing something so personal.
