SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our house has SOLD....... Yay

Scotland here we come......

We have been zipping around Perth, taking lots of final photo's, so I could make this special layout before I have to say goodbye to my scrapping supplies for three, THREE, months, while they ship to Scotland.....



The current sketch over at Sketches In Thyme was the perfect sketch to showcase a lot of photo's - 15 to be exact, and the panoramic view of Perth at the bottom.....





Papers are Teresa Collins "World Traveler" and "Travel Ledger" collections....



The "Perth" chipboard title with the emblem of Western Australia, the Black Swan, is by RW Laser Cuts, which I have stamped with the Kaiser "Postmarks" acrylic stamp....

The suitcases chipboard is by Scrap FX, which I have coloured with Distress Inks - Frayed Burlap, Brushed Corduroy and Barn Door, and a gold pen for the metal locks etc.....



The "Goodbye" letters are by American Crafts Thickers "Emerald Flocked Black"....



We will be leaving Perth sometime in early March - settlement on the house is due on 24th February and once we have settled our affairs here, and said goodbye to our many friends, we will be off....



Ribbon and lace are from my stash....

So, as one door closes, another opens....

Just to organize our shipping and sell off most of our furniture, a busy few weeks ahead, and sadly not much scrapping. Oh well.....

I still have a few projects to post that I have been making over the past few weeks, that should keep my blog going for a wee while, and then it will become a photo gallery for a while...LOL

Hello again friends....

Now that I have settled into being fifty I thought I would pull out the photo's from my 40th (was that really ten years ago??)

I had completely forgotten about that pink dress (wouldn't fit into it now....Lol) and remembered these beautiful papers from the DCWV Street Lace Stack and decided to do a layout.....


I chose a sketch from Sketch Savvy - #69 from November 2011....




The alpha's are American Crafts Thickers "Tinsel"


The rhinestone numbers are from PortaCraft....

FIFTY!!!!!!!!!!

Here again on this very auspicious day......

I'm fifty today.....

OMG - where did fifty years go?

These photo's were taken last month just before we went to Scotland for Christmas....

DH had a limo pick us up at the house this evening. A drive around the beautiful city of Perth and then to dinner at the place we got married five years ago yesterday "Willow Pond" for dinner.....

I thought it was just the two of us, all family being in Scotland.....

But hubby had arranged for a few close friends to join us - a wonderful surprise.....



A great evening was had by all....



Love this bunch of friends, really gonna miss them when we leave Australia......

I'm here with another sketch layout....

The title card is from Webster's "Ladies & Gents" Journaling Card Set....



Large silk flowers are by Recollections "Boutique Fleur"
Small flowers are by Prima "Hydrangea, Fruit Punch"
Individual pearls are Kaiser "Blush"



The large leaf bling is from Zva Creative....

The photo frame was cut using Spellbinder's Nestabilities "Lattice Rectangles"



This sketch has finally made me use one of the many masks I have bought!!!! This is one from Prima and I have used Ranger's Distress ink Victorian Velvet with it.....



The large flourish bling at the bottom of the page is by Prima.....



Martha Stewart Punch "Lace Scallop Heart". I have nestled three of them within the flower cluster - love it....



Photograph is Darling Daughter Deborah, taken at the Revolving Restaurant here in Perth a few years ago.....

Today I have my interpretation of Sketch #190 over at Creative Scrappers....





Again, using Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue collection.....

The journal and 100% fun stamps are from Kaiser....

And along with sketch #189's layout, a double layout. I don't do too many doubles, so was quite happy with this one....

Hello again scrappy friends.....

I've been having a play with the sketches over at Creative Scrappers.....

Here is my interpretation of sketch #189.....





The papers are Graphic 45 "Tropical Travelogue" - love the vibrant colours of this collection....



A Kaiser stamp for the "Paradise in our own back garden"....



Photo is DH and Granddaughter Rebekah in January last year....







Still no sign of the house selling, the market is really slow everywhere, although we are getting a lot of interest, no offers yet....
