Black With 2 February Mood Board Reveal

How gorgeous is our
February Mood Board
 over at

Aqua and Hot Pink!!

A great sketch
 and the word
 "Dream"

All on a black background.

Just had to use these photo's
 of Darling Granddaughter Emma,
 from her 4th Birthday Party,
last year.

A Little Girl's DREAM Cake!

She loves everything Minnie!

A very good friend of Daughter's
 made the cake!

The hot pink papers are from
DCWV "Street Lace"
 and the aqua from
Teresa Collins "Memorabilia"
collection - including the title word
 "Moment".

Martha Stewart
double edge punch
 "Heart Loops Trim"

I have scattered some of the
 wee hearts from the punch
 work at the top and
 bottom of the page.

A Minnie Moment Captured
and into her album
 - Happy!

Now, head on over to
and see what my fellow DT girls
 have done with this month's
Mood Board, and then we
 would love for you to
 have a play too!

Hoping to see you soon

Hugs

SOUS Sketch Reveal Day

Welcome everybody.

It's Sketch Reveal Day
 over at

The second sketch from
 our former co-leader
Sandi Clarkson.

My take on her
 wonderful sketch...

Sandi's Sketch...

This is the first layout
 (of many, I'm sure),
of my recent London trip
with daughter and
Granddaughter.

The papers I have used are
DCWV "Garden Party",
which were the perfect
 palette of colours for the
Buckingham Palace Garden Café,
and the title of the collection
 was so perfect too!

Loving the wee crown
 embedded in the
 pleated ribbon.

In a former life it was
 an earring!

Now, there was far too much
 white space on this sketch.
 I don't do white space
 too well. So I
 made it turquoise...lol.

And I did some masking too
 - about as mixed media as
 you're gonna get from me!

Not my style I'm afraid.
 But, I can handle this.

The masks are
 Tattered Angels Glimmer Screens
 "Fanciful"

Which I have spritzed with
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
 "Bahama Blue"

The flowers have been in
 my possession for years!
 They are from a company
 called
 Crafty Horizons?

The brown pearl flourish
 is from Kaiser,
as are the long
 strips of pearls.

Certainly different.

Hope you like it.

Now, head over to the
for further inspiration from
 my fellow DT girls.

Hope you can find the
time to join us this time.

We love to visit your blogs
 and leave some scrappy love.

See you over at SOUS

Hugs for now

BW2 September Palette

Whoo Hoo
I'm here today with my
 first reveal as a
 Design Team member
 at

I am so thrilled to be part of
this team, and had great fun
 putting my first
 DT project together.

However, this month,
 the girls decided to change
the challenge up a bit,
and instead of just two colours
 along with the black,
 they went with a multitude!

So, my first DT project
is not actually BW2,
 it's BW5...lol

Here is the gorgeous
 September Palette

Dominant Black with
Teal
Plum
Green
Purple
Pink
Yellow
Blue
Orange
and an allowance of 5% white.

Using any or all of the colours.

My page is mostly cardstock,
with a wee bit of patterned paper
 from We R Memory Keepers.

Bazzill cardstock colours used
Yellow = "Desert Sun"
Green = "Hillary"
Blue = "Pauly Poo"
Pink = "Pink Fairy"

The gorgeous blooms are from
 Prima
 "Petticoat Colours Bon Bon"

The eye catching yellow corner
 flourishes are a die from
 Cheery Lynn
"Victorian Romance Flourish"

The leaves are a
 Heartfelt Creations stamp
 "Distressed Leaves"

The blue c/s has been punched
with Martha Stewart PATP
 "Wild Flower"

The pink flourish flowers
are a die from
Marianne Creatables
 "Tiny Flowers 3"

The title was cut directly from
 the WRMK paper
- love it when you can do that -
takes the hard work out of
 thinking up a title!!

Really happy with the
vibrancy of this page
 - quite different from my
 usual style.

But, isn't that what a
challenge is all about...

I hope I have inspired you
 to try this unique challenge,
 and with inspiration from
the rest of the team over at the
 - you have to give this a try.

*****

Now, I am also on the card team
at BW2 and here is my
first card with the
 same September
colour palette.

The black ornate frame is
 Spellbinders
"Adorning Squares"

The topper is a gorgeous
 Le Suh design
 which I have layered up
 a wee bit and added
a wee tiny lilac
 bow to.

The celebrate frame is from
 Spellbinders
"5x7 Detailed Scallops"
 and the word Celebrate
 is a stamp from
 Just Rite Stamps.

I am so loving these sunflowers,
 and the
 Kaiser "Ebony" Sparklets
were just made for the middle
 of these gorgeous flowers,
 which I have highlighted
 with black.

The green background paper
 is from the DCWV stack
 "Garden Party"

A wee bit ribbon from
 my stash and some
 black Kaiser pearls
 to finish.

Whew, pretty photo heavy,
 but such fun!!

Now, head on over to the
and meet my fellow DT girls
 and be inspired by their
 beautiful work.

We also have sponsors for the
 winners of the layout
 and card categories.

So, give yourself a new challenge,
 and join us at BW2

Hope to see you there

Hugs

The LAST SOUS Card Sketch Reveal

Oh Dear!!!!

This is such a sad post for me today.

Yes, the title is correct.

This is the very last
 Card Sketch Reveal
 from

There are so many new and
 wonderful things coming up
 over at SOUS,
 that something had to give,
 and sadly it is the
 Card Team.

I have had fun dabbling
 with these little
 creations, and
will miss them.

And just when I have found
 the perfect place to take
their photo's - the view of
 my new front garden,
all nice and green
- something to do with the fact
 that it rains here
 - EVERY day!!!!!!

And, my gorgeous little cherub
 will now be redundant....

So sad....

However, I am remaining on the
 Layout Sketch Team.

We are losing some of
our Design Team, and I
wish them well, it has been
 a pleasure designing with them.

But, there are some new
 girls joining the team,
and their introductions and
further details of the new
 adventures will be appearing
 on the SOUS Blog
 pretty soon.

So stay tuned for all the details....

In the meantime,
here is my final card
 using the final card sketch
 at
 (so sad....)

Leah's sketch...

I have opted for a sympathy card,
in view of the circumstances,
and felt the sentiment
was perfect...

The paper is from the
DCWV
 "Immortal Love"
matstack.

The sentiment is from
 Just Rite stamps

Spellbinders
 "Lattice Motifs"
 and
 "Classic Ovals"

The pretty little blooms and leaves
 are from Petaloo
"Mini Roses Clusters - All White"

So, now you must head
 over to
 and see the final card
 creations from the
 rest of the
 Card Sketch Team.....

And you simply must
 take part in this
 final card sketch
 challenge.

See you over at SOUS

Hugs

Fab @ 40

Hello again friends....

Now that I have settled into being fifty I thought I would pull out the photo's from my 40th (was that really ten years ago??)

I had completely forgotten about that pink dress (wouldn't fit into it now....Lol) and remembered these beautiful papers from the DCWV Street Lace Stack and decided to do a layout.....

I chose a sketch from Sketch Savvy - #69 from November 2011....

The alpha's are American Crafts Thickers "Tinsel"

The rhinestone numbers are from PortaCraft....

Martha Stewart Punch "Cherish"....

Nestabilities "Classic Scallop Rectangles

Bazzill cardstock....

Striped ribbon and pink roses from my stash.....

Will scrap some photo's from my fiftieth soon......

Hugs
